Curriculum

The exciting educational environment features a hands-on experiential approach to learning. This enable the students to move from simple to complex tasks, and from concrete to abstract ideas, whether in math, science, history & geography and language.

The student leaves the Montessori elementary program with the self-concept of a capable learner and contributor and an optimistic vision of his or her own future.

The universe is the elementary classroom

Cosmic education is a cornerstone of the Montessori philosophy. It describes the role of education as comprehensive, holistic and purposeful; to encompass the development of the whole person within the context of the universe. Dr. Maria Montessori believed that cosmic education was vital to early education because it provides children with a framework to understand their world and their place within it.

Time lines, charts and research card of human needs help the child in independent study and inspire more research in science, history and geography. Montessori elementary children use their imagination and reasoning mind to explore all the parts of the universe.

SCIENCE LAB

Science Lab program is designed to enhance the elementary child’s scientific studies in their classroom, which fit into the larger picture of what Dr. Maria Montessori called “Cosmic Education”.
Montessori promotes the learning of scientific concepts through hands- on-experience by doing real time experiments. In the science laboratory students are made to use the models and understand different scientific theories and concepts.
